 President's Message
A message from 2011-2012 President John Power
Welcome to the Terrey Hills Rotary Club web site. It is designed to tell you about our projects and activities in this community and about the national and international works of Rotary.
Rotary's objectives, as can be seen in our logo below and "Building Communities, Bridging Continents". At our club, in all of the Clubs in our District and in Australia and in some 30,000 Rotary clubs in some 166 countries in the world Rotarians work towards those objectives.
Rotary is made up of ordinary men and women of the community who provide humanitarian service, encourage ethical standards and strive to build peace and goodwill worldwide. Members volunteer their time and labour freely and willingly for the benefit of the community both local and worldwide, always in proportion to their work and family demands. Like you, they have busy lives.
Our club meets regularly to discuss our projects which we conduct in our community both to raise funds and provide services in designated areas such as Youth, Community, Vocational and International. Our meetings provide fellowship, fun and informative guest speakers. Our members possess and share considerable business and professional experience.
Out meetings are public and open to anyone who cares to visit us. We invite you to do so, to enjoy contact with others of your suburb, to present to us a worthy project or inform us of any matter our consider we could assist in.
